Where is a good school to get a master’s degree in colonial American History?

I’d like to study early america. I’m looking for MA programs, not PhD programs right now

Don’t bother with a masters unless you have some specific reason for wanting one, such as a job requirement. Schools will take you a lot more seriously if you go for a doctorate. My guess is that you’ll have the best luck at a large state school, one with a fairly deep bench of historians in the faculty. For something as specialized as this, you’ll want to look in scholarly journals to find articles that interest you, find out who wrote them, find the school they teach at, and go talk to them.
