What is the best career path for a biomedical engineering student?
I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate entering my Junior year at the University of Florida with a strong interest in Biomedical Engineering. I am currently interning at a Biomedical company working with mechanical strengths of tendons and next semester I am going to work in a Biomechanics lab. I have a good GPA that I should be able to maintain so I am left wondering which of the following paths would lead to the overall best career (with factors such as time, commitment, cost, future salary, etc..): An MS in Biomedical Eng, MS in Mechanical Eng related to Biomedical Engineering, Phd in Biomedical Engineering, MD, MD/Phd, Law, or Business. I see pros and cons with each choice, so any adivice on which of these choices is the best would be greatly appreciated.
